Eran Zahavi and Jordan Teze will miss PSV’s game at PEC Zwolle on Sunday after they have tested positive for coronavirus. The striker, who contracted Covid-19 while away on international duty with Israel, will now undertake a period of at least 72 hours in quarantine before undergoing another test.
It was confirmed earlier this week that PSV defender Jordan Teze has tested positive when he was on international duty with Netherlands U23. The defender pulled out of the squad and went home. He resumed training with PSV on Friday but a test revealed he did not meet the standards required to face PEC Zwolle. Teze will continue training because he is without symptoms for some time and is no longer contagious. The physical demands of playing competitive football are high and Teze does not meet them right now. After consulting the KNVB, it has been decided that Teze may join the squad for training but he will not take part in matches.
