Dumfries was visibly moody and irritable when he reviewed the game. “I can’t believe it. This is just incredible. We went out to make amends for a string of poor results and give our all to grab all three points but we never met expectations. We’ve got a lot quality but failed to put in a spirited performance.”
Late equaliser
Denzel Dumfries did not smile when Cody Gakpo rescued a point for PSV with a 90th-minute equaliser. “No, it didn’t soften the blow. We are PSV. We are a big club and we must live up to that image. This is a bitter pill to swallow. We must act like a team and raise our game”, said Dumfries.
