Van Bommel feels confident PSV will claim a win

PSV head coach Mark van Bommel is not worried about his job, but only focuses on Saturday’s match against Fortuna Sittard, the club where he started his career. “All we can do is give everything in that game.”

Gerbrands
After PSV dropped more points in the 1-1 draw with FC Emmen, PSV’s General Manager Toon Gerbrands told the media that he is obviously worried about PSV’s poor run. “He made himself quite clear, as he always does”, said PSV head coach Mark van Bommel at his weekly press briefing. “I feel I have the backing of the board and I think we will claim a win against Fortuna Sittard on Saturday night. “

A win
Van Bommel was also asked if he feared for his job if PSV would not record a win. “We have to take every game as it comes.  All we can do is give everything in that game. We are having a poor spell of form but I am confident we will take all three points. PSV have what it takes to turn things around.”

Turn things around
There are five games left before the winter break set: three in the Dutch league, the Europa League encounter with Rosenborg and the KNVB Beker tie with GVVV to turn things around. “We realise it’s a tough game and an important one and our full focus is on Saturday.”
