UEFA Youth League | PSV U19 record 2-0 win over leaders Lens

PSV created a few chances in the early opening exchanges and fifteen minutes were on the clock when Emir Bars broke the deadlock for Vincent Heilmann’s youngsters. The winger was at the end of a flowing move and poked home from close range: 1-0.

PSV dominated first-half proceedings and had plenty of chances to double the lead. Jesper Uneken, who made his debut in Europe, first hit the post from a corner but found the back of the net on the stroke of half time, with Julian Kwaaitaal providing the assist. Both Emir Bars and Renzo Tytens had goal scoring opportunities to make it three before the break but RC Lens goalkeeper Amine Boukemouche made a double save to deny them. HT: 2-0.
