Transfer | PSV sell Ibrahim Sangaré to Nottingham Forest

PSV and Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement on a transfer of Ibrahim Sangaré. The 25-year-old midfielder has completed a five-year deal with the English Premier League club. The Ivory Coast international has won five trophies with PSV.

Ibrahim made a move from relegated Toulouse FC to PSV in September 2020. He gained a solid reputation in the Ligue 1 as a defensive midfielder who won the ball back almost at will from opponents. He also used his physical attributes in the Eredivisie well. Stats invariably showed that he was a quality player with most tackles and interceptions and duels won.

Ibrahim Sangaré has now realised his dream of playing in the Premier League. During his three years at the Philips Stadion, he won three Johan Cruijff Shields and two TOTO KNVB Cups. He made 140 appearances for PSV across all competitions and scored fifteen goals and had ten assists. The club wishes ‘Ibi’ the best of luck in his future career..
