22-year-old Tony Kok is the new player that will strengthen the PSV eSports-team. Along with Romal Abdi, Kok will be part of PSV’s eSports-team. The FIFA player proved himself to be a top player the past few years and will represent PSV in the eDivisie.
Tony Kok won multiple titles as Dutch champion in FIFA 12, 13 and 14. He also won the FIWC Regionals (FIFA Interactive World Cup) in Munich last season, which allowed him to take part as one of two Dutchmen in the FIWC Finals in London. Kok manages to secure a top 10 finish in the Weekend League almost every week.
“Delighted to complete the transfer”
“I am delighted to complete the transfer. Playing for the PSV eSports-team feels like a dream come true. I can’t wait to get started and I’m looking forward to the new challenge. It’s my aim to win the eDivisie and the tournaments in which I take part. That’s obviously what I am here for.”
First eSport transfer
Kok, who hails from Amsterdam, wore the Telstar shirt last season, taking part in Jupiler League tournaments. He will now show his skills for PSV in the 2017-18 Eredivisie season. Kok is the first Dutch player to make an eSports move. PSV would like to thank Telstar and Bundeld, PSV’s eSports advisor that is in charge of Tony Kok’s management for their help in realising this transfer.
