PSV did not put on an impressive display to see off NAC Breda on Saturday night, but Mark van Bommel’s men controlled the game and claimed a comfortable 2-0 win in the Philkips Stadion. German centre-back Daniel Schwaab was happy with the clean sheet. “Winning games is all that matters”, he said in his post-match interview.
Schwaab admitted it was not PSV’s best performance of the season. “It was not a very entertaining game and that’s why it is important to keep a clean sheet. We had the cutting edge up front to break the deadlock early on. We have bagged three points and that is all that matters”, insisted Schwaab.
