Although Maxi Romero scored his first goal in a PSV shirt, PSV U21 dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with FC Dordrecht at De Herdgang training facilities on Friday night. The Argentinian striker was taken off on the hour mark and saw from the bench how his team threw away a 2-0 lead.
Daneels opens scoring
PSV U21 were clinical in front of goal in the first half and opened the scoring from their first chance. Lennerd Daneels found himself one-on-one with goalkeeper Janssen on eight minutes. The Belgian kept his composure and comfortably slotted home: 1-0. The fans in the main stand had reason to cheer once again in the 35th minute. Maxi Romero, who is visibly getting fitter, controlled the ball on the edge of the penalty area before sending the keeper the wrong way: 2-0.

2-0 lead given away
When PSV U21 were 2-0 up, they survived a few scary moments. Yanick van Osch saw an effort hit the post and needed to stretch at full length to palm a shot away. The PSV U21 goalkeeper was hardly called in action in the second half until the visitors scored two goals in quick succession. Cijntje pulled a goal back on 67 minutes and Zamouri was at the end of a counter attack to draw level three minutes later: 2-2. Both teams went in search of a winning goal in the closing stages but lacked the strength to find the back of the net.
