PSV look to extend their unbeaten run at home to 53 league games when they host VVV-Venlo in the Philips Stadion. PSV head coach Mark van Bommel has made several changes from the team that started against Rosenborg on Thursday. Erick Gutierrez deputises for Jorrit Hendrix, who was taken off in the closing stages of the Europa League match in Norway due to an injury. Daniel Schwaab gets the nod above fellow German Timo Baumgartl in the heart of defence and Bruma replaces Mohamed Ihattaren, who missed the game due to sad family reasons.

A minute’s silence
A minute’s silence will be observed before kick-off in tribute to the father of Mohamed Ihattaren who has passed away.

Pereiro returns to match squad
Donyell Malen leads the attack, with Bruma and Ritsu Doan providing support from the wings. Steven Bergwijn will play in the No 10 position. Robbin Ruiter keeps his place in goal, while Gastón Pereiro returns from injury. The Uruguayan is on the bench, along with, among other players, Ibrahim Afellay.
