PSV U21 slip down the table after 2-0 home loss to Cambuur

PSV U21 slipped further down the table after a 2-0 loss at home to SC Cambuur on Saturday evening. Following the defeat, they are currently sitting in seventh place, along with SC Cambuur.

SC Cambuur made a perfect start
PSV U21 were a goal down after 56 seconds, when Van de Streek tapped the ball home past Jurjus from close range: 0-1.  The home side were upset and did not get into the game until the closing stage of the first half. Lammers and Rosario had great goal scoring opportunities but failed to put the ball away, when one-on-one with SC Cambuur goalkeeper Zeinstra.

Jurjus beaten
PSV U21 did not improve after the break. The best chance fell to the Frisian side but Jurjus pulled off a terrific save to deny Tissoudali. But with twenty minutes remaining Jurjus was well and truly beaten when Tissoudali chipped the ball over PSV U21’s goalkeeper: 0-2. The hosts could not pull one back on a frosty night.
