PSV sign goalkeeper Vincent Müller from German side Würzburger Kickers. The 20-year-old youngster will join Roger Schmidt’s first-team squad. ‘Vincent is a promising young keeper who will be given time to become a top quality custodian”, says Director of Football John de Jong.
Senior squad goalkeeping group
The senior squad goalkeeping group is complete now that the young German has put pen to paper on his contract. “Mvogo and Unnerstall are experienced goalkeepers, while Müller and Maxime Delanghe are the potential future main goalkeepers”, continues De Jong. “They will follow tailor made training programmes and our goalkeeping coaches will guide them in every step they take.”
Cologne
Müller, who hails from Cologne, rose through the youth ranks at 1 FC Köln before he made a move to Würzburger Kickers in the summer of 2019. Würzburger Kickers were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga last season.
