PSV have parted company with eSporter Tony Kok after it was found out that Kok and his management team had failed to share information about the gamer’s past. On-line behaviour displayed by Kok some years ago are such a long way off PSV’s key values so that a continuation of the co-operation proved to be impossible.
“Of course we have carried out background checks”, explains PSV Marketing & Media manager Guus Pennings. “In order to get a clear picture, including on-line behaviour, it is essential for both parties to be honest and put their cards on the table. We regret this did not happen. It is an embarrassing experience in the field of E-sports, from which we can take a lesson.”
PSV’s ambitions in the field of eSports remain unchanged and therefore PSV will look for a replacement
