Pereiro replaces Bergwijn against AZ

PSV travel to the AFAS Stadion to take on AZ in the first of five crunch games this Saturday evening. Head coach Phillip Cocu makes one change to the team that recorded a 5-1 win over NAC Breda on their last outing. Uruguayan Gastón Pereiro replaces Steven Bergwijn, who serves a one-match ban.

Three players one booking away from suspension
PSV make no further changes, so Santiago Arias, Nicolas Isimat and Marco van Ginkel are all handed a start in Alkmaar. The PSV trio are one booking away from suspension, meaning if they are shown a yellow card, they will miss next week’s big game against Ajax. Referee Kevin Blom has been selected to officiate the game that kicks off at 19.45.
