PSV will be without goalkeeper Walter Benítez for some time after he suffered a knee injury in training on Tuesday afternoon. He has undergone successful surgery in the Anna Ziekenhuis. Walter Benítez will spend a sustained period on the sidelines.
The Argentine goalkeeper made a move from OGC Nice to PSV last summer. He has kept ten clean sheets in the 35 appearances he has made for PSV in all competitions this season. Head coach Ruud van Nistelrooij will now select from the goalkeepers Joël Drommel, Boy Waterman and Kjell Peersman.
