Michael van Gerwen, an avid PSV fan, will again be honoured by PSV. He became the first major sporting world champion of 2019 after winning the World Darts Championship for a third time.
The darts player, who has been presented with the Dutch equivalent of an MBE, will show off his trophy as he walks around the pitch in the Philips Stadium in a lap of honour on Sunday during the break of PSV’s home fixture against Feyenoord.
