Hirving Lozano has been released from hospital and his injury will be assessed on a day to day basis.
PSV’s Mexican winger sustained an injury on Saturday night when he jumped for an aerial challenge with FC Groningen defender Tim Handwerker. Lozano went down and was stretchered off the pitch. The 23-year-old, who had recently won the 2018 CONCACAF Men’s Player of the Year award, had already scored two goals, in the 15th and 19th minutes, to secure a 2-1 victory.
