Jong PSV suffered 5-2 defeat in Nijmegen

Jong PSV suffered a 5-2 defeat against Jupiler League leaders on Monday night. Ars scored freely for the hosts after the break.

Jorrit Hendrix made comeback
The good news was that Jorrit Hendrix continued his comeback by playing the full 90 minutes in Nijmegen. The midfielder looks to have shaken off the injury that he sustained during the training camp in Maspalomas. Senior players Pasveer, Brenet, Tamata, Ritzmaier and Vloet also started for Jong PSV. Defender Brenet put Jong PSV 1-0 up but Limbombe soon levelled. Darije Kalezic´s side regained the lead through Vloet, but it was all square again when the half-time whistle went after Ars found the back of the net on the stroke of half-time.

Ars scored freely for N.E.C. after the break
N.E.C. were the better side after the break.  Ars, bagging a brace, and Daemen scored freely for the Jupiler League leaders. Jong PSV, who had recorded a 1-0 win in this season’s reverse fixture thanks to a goal from Boljevic, had little to offer in the second half. Jong PSV, who have suffered two straight defeats, will be back in league action on Friday when they travel to Rotterdam to face Sparta.
