International break | Twelve PSV players called up

PSV go into the international break on the back of a 4-0 victory against PEC Zwolle. Twelve PSV players have been called up for international duty. Jerdy Schouten’s fine midfield performances for PSV have helped him earn a call-up from the Netherlands’ national football team.

Oranje
Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has called up Joey Veerman and Jerdy Schouten to his squad to face the Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar in Euro 2024 qualifying matches. Schouten will report for duty in Zeist on Monday for the second time. Netherlands host the Republic of Ireland at the Johan Cruyff ArenA on Saturday 18 November, with a kick-off time of 20.45 and meet Gibraltar three days later.

The Stars and Stripes 
Three American internationals, Sergiño DestMalik Tillman and Ricardo Pepi, joined PSV at the start of the season. USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter has named the PSV trio in his 24-man squad for the 2023-24 double CONCACAF Nations League quarter finals against Trinidad & Tobago

Argentina, Belgium, Morocco & Mexico
PSV goalkeeper Walter Benítez has been called to the Argentina squad and hopes to make his first start against Brazil and Uruguay. Ismael Saibari and Hirving Lozano have received a call-up to represent Morocco, Belgium and Mexico, respectively. Morocco will play Eritrea and Tanzania in 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Belgium will meet Serbia in an international friendly and host Azerbaijan in their final European Championship qualifier. Mexico will meet Honduras in two World Cup 2026 qualifying Cup matches.

Youth squads
Jason van Duiven
 and Isaac Babadi have been called up to the Netherlands U19 squad to face Luxembourg, Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Fredrik Oppegård has earned a call-up to the Norway U21 squad to meet the Republic of Ireland and Turkey.
