Cody Gakpo and Jordan Teze have withdrawn from the Netherlands squad. The two PSV players had joined Louis van Gaal’s 28-man squad for the upcoming friendlies with Denmark and Germany but will now go back to Eindhoven.
Gakpo
Gakpo sustained an ankle injury during PSV’s 4-0 win at FC Copenhagen. The forward was doing a rehabilitation programme in Zeist but the international friendlies come too early for him.
Teze
Teze was called up to the Netherlands squad for the first time. The 22-year-old defender picked up a minor injury in training and is not available for the matches against Denmark on 26 March and Germany three days later.
