Érick Gutiérrez has been called up by Mexico to represent his country at the World Cup in Qatar. Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación (FMF) announced the squad on Monday night. Besides Guti, the former PSV players Hirving Lozano, Andrés Guardado and Héctor Moreno were also named in the squad.
Group C
Mexico kick off their World Cup campaign on Tuesday 22 November when they face Poland. They play Argentina four days later and meet Saudi Arabia in their final Group C game on Wednesday 30 November.
