Davy Pröpper received a present, prior to the kick-off of PSV’s meeting with PEC Zwolle on Saturday, for making his 100th appearance for PSV against Willem II on 25 September. As the midfielder sustained an injury during that game, he was not handed a bunch of flowers and a framed photograph until Saturday by PSV ambassador Mart van den Heuvel.
Pröpper signed his first professional contract with PSV on 13 July 2015 and made his debut a month later. He moved to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2017 but returned to PSV at the start of the current season. He has scored 23 goals for PSV in 100 appearances in all competitions. He scored ten goals in the 2015/16 Dutch Eredivisie title winning season with PSV ans won the Dutch Super Cup three times.
