20-year-old midfielder Bart Ramselaar has joined PSV from FC Utrecht, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract at De Herdgang training facilities in Thursday morning. Ramselaar, 29 June 1996, joined his new PSV team mates for full training on Thursday morning.
Bart Ramselaar joined FC Utrecht in 2010 and came through all the youth ranks in Utrecht. He was generally considered a promising talent and made his Eredivisie debut against Feyenoord on 1 March 2015. Ramselaar has scored six goals in 41 appearances for FC Utrecht.
On target in the Philips Stadion
Ramselaar did not miss a single game for FC Utrecht last season and made his mark in FC Utrecht’s 3-1 defeat against PSV in the Philips Stadion in the 2015/16 campaign, scoring the consolation goal for his team. He even struck twice in Eindhoven, when FC Utrecht knocked PSV out of the KNVB Beker tournament, following a 3-1 victory. Ramselaar was regularly called up to the Netherlands U19 and U21 squad and was also included in the Netherlands squad. He has not received his first cap for the Oranje, due to injuries.
