All smiles after brave comeback

The PSV players felt proud after they came back from two goals down to register a fine 3-2 win over PAOK. ‘It was great to turn things around”, said captain Denzell Dumfries after the game.

Dumfries: ‘A well-served victory’
Dumfries was not pleased his side conceded two early goals and were made to chase the game. “We gave away two sloppy goals early on but I felt we could complete a comeback. We kept our composure and showed we were the better team after the break. I think we fully deserved our win”, said Dumfries.

Gakpo made his mark
Cody Gakpo made his mark with a goal and an assist. The PSV forward is having a fine season with seven goals and two assists in ten games. “It was a fine goal, wasn’t it?”, said Gakpo, smiling brightly, referring to the goal that brought PSV new hope. Gakpo was told that he had found the back of the net seven time from eight efforts on target. “Well, eight shots, seven goals, stats to be proud of!”, said Gakpo.
