The KNVB have confirmed that all matches in professional football will go ahead as scheduled this weekend. So PSV will play their upcoming matches in the Philips Stadium against Vitesse, Sturm Graz and away at sc Heerenveen behind closed doors.
Gerbrands: ‘Focus on organizing Saturday’s game’
PSV General Manager Toon Gerbrands admitted on Tuesday evening that he had hoped the matches would be postponed. “We have done our very best to serve the interests of our supporters, sponsors and PSV, but accept the outcome of the consultations and the cabinet’s decision. We will now focus on organizing Saturday’s match against Vitesse. We hope that the lockdown will be lifted after three weeks and see our fans back in the stadium:”, said Gerbrands.
