21-man squad flies out to Norway

PSV head coach Mark van Bommel and a 21-man squad, including among other players Timo Baumgartl, flew out of Eindhoven airport at 10am this morning ahead of PSV’s Europa League third qualifying round tie against FK Haugesund on Thursday evening.

Timo Baumgartl has been included in the squad to face the Norwegian side in the first leg. The German defender was called up to the match squad for the opening game of the Eredivisie season against FC Twente. Ibrahim Afellay, Toni Lato and Derrick Luckassen did not travel with the squad to Norway. Mark van Bommel, accompanied by one of the players, will look ahead at tomorrow night’s game at a press conference at 17.30 before the players check out the pitch during a training session half an hour later.
