PSV head coach Ruud van Nistelrooij has named a 22-man traveling squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League first leg against Rangers FC. The first-team squad and coaching staff head for Scotland on Monday afternoon, looking to get a result at Ibrox Stadium on Tuesday night.
Absentees
PSV will be without Carlos Vinicius, Mauro Junior and Yorbe Vertessen. Richard Ledezma will stay in Eindhoven for further assessment and more clarity. The American limped off the pitch against Go Ahead Eagles following a very reckless challenge on his ankle. Ki-Jana Hoever does not join his team-mates for the trip to Scotland, either. He has been called up to the PSV U21 match squad to face FC Dordrecht on Monday night. Ruud van Nistelrooij will take charge of a training session at Ibrox on Monday, the home of Glasgow Rangers FC after having spoken to the press, ahead of Tuesday’s game.
