Wessel Kuhn was first scouted in 2013, and a year later he made the permanent move to the PSV Academy. In the 2024–2025 season, he joined PSV U21s for the first time. At the same time, he achieved the ultimate goal of every PSV youth player: making his debut for the first team – in the UEFA Champions League, no less, against Red Star Belgrade (3–2). Not long afterwards, he also made his first appearances in the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup.
