Joey Veerman made his debut in 2016 at FC Volendam, the club from his hometown. Three years later, he transferred to sc Heerenveen, where he further established himself as a midfielder with a splitting pass. In the winter of 2022, Joey chose PSV over a number of other contenders.
He has now played more than a hundred matches for PSV 1. During that time, he won the national title, the Johan Cruijff Schaal and the TOTO KNVB Cup twice. He also caught the eye of the Dutch national team, with whom he played at the 2024 European Championships in Germany.
