Chimera started her professional career at the age of 16 at VV Alkmaar. After 4 seasons in North Holland, she transferred to sc Heerenveen, where she scored 7 goals in 22 league games. Since 2022-2023 she has played for PSV Women, where she has been in action as a wing attacker, attacking midfielder and occasionally as a striker.

The Amsterdam native made her debut for the Dutch national team in 2024. In 2025, she won the Eredivisie Cup with PSV.
