PSV Women beat sc Heerenveen comfortably. In the eighth round of play, the team kept the zero in the back and struck six times in front. Lore Jacobs, maker of the 1-0, was named the standout player.
In the seventh minute, a beautiful pass from Riola Xhemaili led to the 1-0. She sent Lore Jacobs away, who beat her opponent and fired a controlled shot. Less than ten minutes later, Chimera Ripa scored the 2-0. Anissa Chibani gave her first assist. After that it remained one-way traffic, but thanks to good goalkeeping by Brenda Badenhop, sc Heerenveen stayed in the game.
In the second half, the visitors had a number of chances. Fortunately Nicky Evrard was alert, she would not be passed at all. At the other end, a good corner by Renate Jansen was finally rewarded. Substitute Liz Rijsbergen literally ran into the ball. A few minutes later Liz gas the assist on Nina Nijstads 4-0. Nina in turn provided the cross on Chimera Ripas 5-0. In extra time, Sisca Folkertsma, back from injury, scored the final goal of the evening.
