PSV Women won the first meeting with HERA United convincingly. The team scored twice both before and after halftime and defensively - apart from injuries - hardly ran into any problems.

HERA's defense had a tough time with Lore Jacobs on Sunday. The Belgian attacker, set up from the right but often pulling inside, created a lot of danger. In the 22nd minute, she opened the scoring with a placed shot. Three minutes later it was another goal: Riola Xhemaili effectively rounded off a fine pass from Louize Haentjens. Louize, who made her debut a week earlier, stepped in early for the injured Anissa Chibani. For Riola, it was already her fourth league goal of the season.

The two quick goals forced HERA coach Ed Engelkes to intervene. With two substitutions after half an hour, he tried to turn the tide, but to no avail. In the 60th minute, Sisca Folkertsma headed in from a corner. Soon after, Chimera Ripa was close to the fourth goal when she subtly stroked the ball over the goalkeeper; however, her effort landed on the underside of the crossbar. In the end it was substitute Liz Rijsbergen who made it 4-0. After an impressive solo from her own half, she shot the ball into the crossbar.

In the second half, Merle Touw and Aniek Janssen made their debuts for the main squad. The homegrown talents also received De Frederik.
