PSV Women can get ready for the semi-finals of the Eurojackpot KNVB Beker. Just like last weekend, FC Utrecht was swept aside 3-0. Unlike Sunday, this time all goals fell in the second half.
The first big chance was for Lore Jacobs, who took a defended ball on the volley. Unfortunately for the Belgian striker, she could not follow up Sunday 's league goal against FC Utrecht. Some more small chances followed for PSV, but in the 30th and 42nd minutes FC Utrecht was especially close, with a ball on the crossbar and a shot on Moon Biegel-Esteves' body.
Fortunately, the second half was more like last Sunday's game. PSV Women were more patient on the ball and that resulted in a number of goals. In the 52nd minute, Sisca Folkertsma opened the scoring from a corner. In the 63rd minute Nina Nijstad also scored from a corner kick and in the 85th minute Liz Rijsbergen made it 3-0. FC Utrecht still came out dangerous at times, but Moon played a strong game.
