PSV has been touched by Lennart Thy's wonderful initiative. The club supports the action of the VVV-Venlo player, who is missing the match due to a stem cell donation, and calls for him to become a donor as well. Therefore, the children in the lineup wore shirts with the text "Follow Lennart, become a stem cell donor.
DNA match
Lennart Thy announced earlier this week that he would forgo the match against PSV to help a leukemia patient with whom he has a DNA match. VVV-Venlo immediately gave him permission to do so. Thy thus donated blood this week to a patient who could undergo surgery with it. With the shirts in the lineup, PSV and VVV-Venlo want to draw attention to this once again and call upon people to become stem cell donors.
