PSV Women has been paired with Eintracht Frankfurt in the round of 16 of the UEFA Women’s Europa League. The home match will be played on October 28 or 29. On November 10 or 11, PSV will visit the German Bundesliga club.
The opponent in a potential next round is already known: it will be either Real Sociedad or Fenerbahçe SK. The matchup against Eintracht Frankfurt is a rematch of last year’s round of 16. Back then, the German team came out on top over the two-leg series. More details regarding the exact times and ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
In the previous round, PSV defeated Fortuna Hjørring. They won 1-0 at home, and Kasper Kurland’s team also dominated the away match. However, that game ended in a 0-0 draw.
Ajax and Feyenoord have also qualified for the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. The Amsterdam team has been paired with Malmö FF, while the Rotterdam team will face VfL Wolfsburg.
