Roger Schmidt and Jordan Teze are both looking forward to the return duel with FC Copenhagen with confidence. After the 4-4 in Eindhoven, the pair know what the team has to do. "We know where the chances are. We are tremendously motivated."

Home game
"We analyzed the away game in detail and know where the chances are," Schmidt said. "Details are often decisive. Copenhagen punished our personal mistakes immediately. In my opinion, we had the better of the game, but did not dominate enough to put the game in the lock. The personal mistakes put the opponent in a seat. The flawless game does not exist, but we must not make any more mistakes in crucial areas of the field. We are well prepared for tomorrow night's game."

Style of play
When asked if PSV will sit back in the event of a lead, Teze is resolute. "If we make the 1-0, we will go on for the 2-0. It's not in our nature to sit back then. We are capable of defending a lead, but prefer to extend the score," Teze explains. Schmidt shares his pupil's opinion. "It makes no sense to compare us to other teams and styles of play. We are PSV and we stick to our own style of play. That has brought us to where we are today. We are still active on three fronts. We know what our weapons are."

Fans
Teze says he's not worried about any witch-hunts at Parks Stadium. "An atmospheric ambiance only makes it beautiful. We have already played a lot of duels with a stadium that turned against us. These games only make you stronger. That's where you learn the most. Tomorrow we will be supported by some 1,100 away supporters. Together with them we are going to give everything to reach the first European quarterfinal in eleven years. We feel no pressure but are motivated to the bone."

Fit
Schmidt indicated that Mario Götze and Mauro Júnior will be employable on Thursday. "We deliberately did not let them train yesterday. They have played a lot of matches recently. They are not bothered by anything, but in view of possible overtiredness we considered it wiser to let the training slip. They are able to play and are not missing anything. They make us stronger. In this match, too, we will again rely on our own strength. We have high hopes of reaching the next round."
