PSV took a very comfortable 0-3 lead at FC Twente after 45 minutes of play. Luuk de Jong, Jeffrey Bruma and captain Georginio Wijnaldum were the goal scorers.
PSV takes distance in short time
PSV goalkeeper Zoet was the first of the two goalkeepers to be put to work. Miyaichi headed in from the left, but his shot ended up right in Zoet's hands. Twente goalkeeper Stevens also had to work within fifteen minutes, punching a De Jong shot out of the corner. Shortly after a great chance for Andersen, who saw his hard shot from a corner kick deflected away by Zoet, De Jong was successful. After about half an hour, Luciano Narsingh hit the post and De Jong tapped in the rebound: 0-1. Five minutes later, PSV also had the second goal.
