PSV sets sights on NAC Breda

PSV does not have time to look back long on the draw with VVV-Venlo this week. The team must move on and therefore already turned the knob towards NAC Breda on Tuesday.

Forward draw
On Thursday, interim coach Ernest Faber's team will play NAC Breda in the battle for the TOTO KNVB Beker. Before the winter break, PSV was paired with Breda in the tournament. For the first time, the KNVB also 'drew through'. This means that the schedule for the remainder of the competition is already clear. The draw took place in the same way as it does prior to a World Cup. Because PSV is at the bottom of the right half of the schedule, it already knows for sure that it will play all its matches in the KNVB Cup this season outside Philips Stadium.

Outlook
Faber looks ahead to Wednesday afternoon's encounter with NAC Breda. The team from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie won the first period this season, making it the first team to secure promotion/degradation playoffs at the end of this season. Currently, NAC is in fifth place in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. It won 3-1 against Young PSV at the end of November. The press conference with Ernest Faber can again be seen live on YouTube on Wednesday. It will start around 1:30 p.m.
