Social Partner Spieren voor Spieren received an amount of € 18,000 around the cup match between PSV and RKC Waalwijk.
Annual tradition
General director Toon Gerbrands handed a check for €18,000 to Minke Booij, director of the foundation, at halftime of the game. Every year, a PSV match is dedicated to the club's social partner. This time it is PSV - RKC. Per ticket sold, PSV donates one euro to Spieren voor Spieren.
Rare
There are 20,000 children in the Netherlands with a rare muscle disease. Spieren voor Spieren dreams of a world in which children no longer suffer from a muscle disease. With partners, with sportive actions and events and with the commitment of top sport and child ambassadors as much money as possible is raised. This money will be spent on research and on diagnostics, treatment and care in for example the Spieren voor Spieren Kindercentrum in Utrecht.
