At the press conference in London, Peter Bosz looks ahead to the return duel with Arsenal. He emphasizes his team's determination to do better than in Eindhoven. Armando Obispo shares that fighting spirit. "This match is important for our feeling," he said.
PETER BOSZ
How do you send your team onto the field now?
"I think everyone who was on the field last week doesn't want to go through what happened there again. We want to show that we are better than that. You're playing against a top club in a great stadium. Everyone who started playing football as a little boy dreams of being here in the [UEFA] Champions League. We are very motivated to make it a real game."
Mikel Arteta said he was going to rotate. Are you going to rest players?
"For me, the competition is the most important thing. A number of guys deserve to play and get the chance to show themselves."
You're drafting Armando Obispo. How do you view him?
"I'm very satisfied with him. The way he trains is always top notch, and that's where players have to show it. That's incredibly important, and he does that all season long. Unfortunately, he's been unlucky with his injuries."
When will you be satisfied after the game tomorrow?
"When we work hard, dare to play football and do it together. When I see that on the field, I am satisfied."
You won against sc Heerenveen and therefore built up some confidence. How is that feeling with you now?
"I have a good feeling. What was important for me is that we showed again what we have been good at all season. We created three chances in the first four minutes, which hasn't happened in a while. The football looked really good at times. But at the same time, that does not guarantee anything for tomorrow, because we are playing against a completely different opponent at a higher level. We will obviously not get as many chances tomorrow as we did against sc Heerenveen, which is logical."
How important is tomorrow's game to the process you guys are in?
"Every game is important because you see how quickly good football can give you everything, but also how quickly that can be lost again. It's important to keep seeing those improvements over and over again."
ARMANDO OBISPO
With what feeling will you step onto the field tomorrow?
"With the idea that we want to bring the match to a good end. I'm playing and I'm very happy with that."
Is it difficult to motivate yourself for such a duel?
"No, for me certainly not. A poster like this for a club like PSV; then it's not difficult to get charged up for this duel."
What is left to gain tomorrow here in London?
"I think this match is very important for our own feeling. The [UEFA] Champions League campaign has gone very nicely and well until last match and now we want to finish it in the best possible way. Of course we have revenge feelings, it wouldn't be good if we didn't have that now."
How do you describe the mood in the locker room right now?
"As combative. We want to show something. We have to play tomorrow for the club, ourselves and the fans who have all come this way. They support us all season, both nationally and internationally, so you always play for them."
Will you prove a little extra tomorrow?
"I always try my hardest and stand there like always. Whether that's a whole game or the last three minutes."
