PSV also continued its perfect series against FC Volendam. Malik Tillman made his starting debut and was immediately important. Head coach Peter Bosz had words of praise for the attacking midfielder after the match.

PSV's good start to the season pleases Bosz. Bosz also sees the creation of as many as 38 chances as something positive. However, more goals should be scored. "We created a huge number of chances and we did that very well. FC Volendam could hardly counter; you do that well too. At the same time, we need to score a lot more and the ball loss we suffered was unnecessary. We did a lot well and also a lot not well. That's locked in those 38 chances," Bosz said, calling that the elusive thing in football.

Insane base debutant
The Head Coach had complimentary words to say for Malik Tillman, who made his starting debut at home. "I thought Malik was insane tonight. How he prepared Guus' goal, turned away there and the amount of balls he picked off was amazing," said Bosz who felt the attacking midfielder contributed greatly to PSV's dominance. "This is what I expect from him with and without the ball. We all saw his potential tonight. The crowd was able to see what he is capable of and that is lol."

Many chances
Malik Tillman himself was very satisfied with the performance of PSV and himself, but at the same time saw areas for improvement. "The opponent did well. Our finishing was not good enough and their goalkeeper was sharp. We want to win every game and also score as many goals as possible."

The American was very happy with his grassroots debut and highlighted some positives. "I helped the team and I'm very happy with that. It's positive that we were able to bring about this amount of chances against a defensively-minded team," Tillman said who took a brief look ahead to next week's Champions League match against Sevilla FC. "It will be a great match where a win is necessary. We will show the public what we can do."
