PSV closed the UEFA Champions League adventure in London in a strong way. With a 2-2 draw against Arsenal, Peter Bosz 's team showed character. "After that early deficit we turned our backs, I think that's great," he told the press conference after the game.

PETER BOSZ

Was this what you envisioned tonight?
"Ideally we would have won. That would have been good for Dutch football, but if you saw the game, we can be satisfied. We started strong, got a counter-goal right from one chance. But the boys got their backs up, and I think that's great."

What did you think of the performances of Couhaib Driouech and Isaac Babadi tonight?
"They did very well today, as did other guys. They got a chance to show themselves, and they did. Babadi played very uninhibited and made good choices in ball possession, I enjoyed him. Driouech scored a beautiful goal, but also his constant threat made the difference."

You said yesterday that a football player only experiences a defeat like last week once. Do you think the boys handled that well?
"That's precisely why I think it's so clever that we came back after that early 1-0 deficit. That starts with convincing football: staying in possession, looking the other way and not just playing long balls. You shouldn't end up in a football fight, but controlling them soccer-wise."

You've had a turbulent European adventure, how would you describe it?
"You're eliminated, that's disappointing. But I look back positively. We played memorable games, like against Shakhtar Donetsk. Yesterday I watched Liverpool - Paris Saint-Germain and realized that we drew and won against that, those are beautiful duels. Juventus too, the difference between our first matches against them and the last one, which eliminated such a great opponent. But there were also low points, like the defeat last week. That's all part of it."

Was this match a confirmation for you that you are on the right track?
"I liked the fact that when we were behind, we didn't give up. You take a point here fully justified and I think there was even more in it. You wanted to put certain things right, and it worked."

COUHAIB DRIOUECH

You're sitting here with a broad smile on your face. What did you do in the seventieth minute?
"I got the ball after good work by Isaac and scored a nice goal. This was a chance for me to show myself on my basic debut in the [UEFA] Champions League. I am very happy that I got that chance from the coach. You know how good Arsenal are and that it was going to be a difficult match, so we can be very proud of the result."

Why did you decide to lob the ball over the goalkeeper?
"When I know I'm going to play, I always visualize things that could happen in a match. I already knew that if I ended up in such a situation, I would lob it."

What did the head coach just say to you guys?
"He addressed the group and above all indicated he was proud of the team and I am too. We want to continue this line in the league."

What did you think of the supporters' support?
"It seemed like we were playing a European match in the Philips Stadium. I thought it was fantastic how they sympathized."
