Head coach Peter Bosz cannot and will not single out one standout after the 3-1 victory over Juventus. The coach speaks of a tremendous team performance. And Noa Lang also plays an important role to the crowd.

Peter, this made some sense to you too, right?
"Definitely, I don't go through this every day either. It was a special match. We played well and won deservedly, and then also in our own way. I'm happy about that."

Does it give you extra satisfaction to win with your own game?
"Yes, honestly it does. The emotion at Perišić's goal was beautiful, wow. That's football after all. A goal like that, that's what people come to the stadium for."

Perišić is a great football player, isn't he?
"And what an experience. For a moment I was afraid of his reaction when I substituted him. He was all through, but he's not someone who admits that. His approach to the goal was really great. The ball bounced, which made it difficult, but that allowed him to take it on the volley. And so it happened."

What did you think of your game?
"We started well, we dared to play football. If you only play the long ball, you never really get into the game. At one point we got a little tougher, but in the second half we picked it up great again."

Normally you always have one or two standouts, but today everyone excelled.
"Yes, it was really a team performance today. We battled, especially in the extension, where we got out from under the pressure as a team. Also compliments to the substitutes. It's tough to fill in in a match like that, but they meant a lot to us."

Did your heart skip a beat when Luuk was kicked a meter into the air?
"I heard above the sound of the stadium the bang. Luuk's reaction also spoke volumes, so I was shocked. Fortunately, he was able to continue playing."

Two Dutch clubs in the last sixteen, what does that tell you?
"It's very special, because in terms of budget we don't come close to the big countries. I am very happy for Dutch football. We took the points and Feyenoord is also through."

Noa Lang

What an evening.
"As a little boy, you dream of nights like that. The audience was so behind us that we just couldn't play badly. It gave us energy and we wanted to make them happy. The supporters played a big part in this victory."

What did you think of your level?
"This was Champions League level. We can build on this. If we bring this into the Eredivisie as well, no one can stop us."

Why doesn't this work out in the Eredivisie?
"With our quality, it is unbelievable that we are losing so many points. I think today is a huge boost for us. Sometimes we subconsciously think we'll be fine, but we shouldn't. That laxity has to come out. That's our responsibility as players. It's not because of the coach, because Peter is a top coach."

What did you think of your own game?
"I'm a diesel, I grow in the game. I didn't start well, but in the second half I showed it. The ball to Ivan was just right, and he also took it perfectly. It was a great goal. I do regret not deciding it at the end of the second half."

With that pass to Ivan, did you also take into account that he can take such a hard ball?
"Definitely, it's Ivan Perišić. He's a great player and you saw that again in his approach and finishing."
