Peter Bosz and Guus Til called "getting a grip" the key words of the evening. The head coach highlighted the strong phases in the match, with one player clearly standing out. "I am hugely impressed with him as a professional," Bosz said.

PETER BOSZ

How do you look back on the victory?
"We didn't start very strong and we didn't have a grip on the game, both in possession of the ball and in putting pressure. After that first goal it went much better and we were in complete control. The intensity was very high and we had to push, but we did that well."

Ivan Perišic was very important again. What do you think of him as a player?
"He impresses us a lot. His two-leggedness, technique and overview stand out, as do his goals in all competitions. But even more important is how he acts as a pro. He always gives 100 percent and is still so fit at his age; that requires enormous dedication. As a coach, you can only dream of that."

And he was in the right place again three times. What does that tell you?
"That's pure quality."

Are you back to the high level?
"You did indeed see that in certain phases, such as when preparing the fourth goal and in the early stages of the second half. The pressure from both teams created a lot of space in midfield, but we were playing football at a very high level then."

Now the duel with Feyenoord awaits. What kind of feeling are you going to De Kuip with?
"Tonight we book our fourth win in a row and we go to De Kuip with a five-point lead. We achieved that by focusing on ourselves. So again: we have one thought and that is now focus on the upcoming game with Feyenoord."

GUUS TIL

There was visible joy radiating off the field. What was it like being on the field yourself?
"It was difficult in the first 15 minutes, but then the ball fell just right for Perišić. That gave us a grip on the game. Then when you get to 1-0 quickly, it breaks a bit with them and that immediately gave us a good feeling."

Again today you delivered a lot of energy. Was that depth important today?
"They played very low, so Malik and I were quite often trapped in triangles by them together. I wondered where I could find the space, but as the game progressed, I managed to find and exploit it better and better."

How are you looking at the closing stages of this season?
"If you see how we have been playing lately, we are heading towards De Kuip with confidence. We just have to do what we have to do and then we'll see where it ends. We look per game and focus on ourselves. The next few duels are always the most important."
