If PSV manages to qualify for the Europa League playoff next Thursday, it will affect the league schedule.
In that case, the home match against FC Groningen (scheduled for August 24 at 7:45 p.m.) will be moved to Wednesday evening, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. The Dutch clubs that reach the playoff will be offered the maximum rest by the KNVB to prepare properly for this match.
The away match against RKC Waalwijk, in case of playoff placement, will move from Saturday, August 31 at 7:45 p.m. to Sunday, September 1 at 8 p.m. This is because otherwise there would be too little mandatory rest between matches. That match will go to 8 p.m. This was done after consultation with local authorities.
