At Sportcomplex Zoudenbalch Young PSV left nothing untouched by Jong FC Utrecht. The goal-fest ended 1-6. On behalf of the Eindhoveners, Sambo, Piroe, Daverveld, Bakayoko and Fofana scored twice.
Dream start
The match was a reunion with former PSV players Djenairo Daniels and Davy van den Berg. Both started in the base at Jong FC Utrecht. Young PSV started the match with a dream start. After two minutes of playing time Fredrik Oppegård managed to cleverly run himself free and deliver a placed cross to the head of Shurandy Sambo. The right-back could easily head in for the 0-1. Joël Piroe also got the word out. The striker was well played free and after a clever run he managed to shoot the ball with a lob over the Utrecht goalkeeper. A 0-2 lead in the first fifteen minutes. Another attempt came from Jeremy Antonisse who was able to shoot from far away but saw his shot go over the goal. Fode Fofana did not appear on the score sheet yet but changed that himself. With a beautiful overhead kick he made it 0-3 at halftime.
Goal-fest
The second half had barely started and the fourth goal was already there. After a nice header from Armando Obispo, Tijn Daverveld was served. The central duo found each other easily and the score became 0-4. Fofana almost managed to extend the lead even further after a run, but he bumped into Jong FC Utrecht goalkeeper Paes. Yet his second of the evening came quickly. With an hour on the clock the striker stormed towards Paes' goal and neatly tipped the ball over him for his second goal of the evening. At the other end of the pitch, the home team did a bit back. A shot was taken from close range and the effort was unstoppable for Maxime Delanghe. The goal-fest was not over yet. Substitute Johan Bakayoko managed to shoot the ball cleverly past Paes for his first goal for Young PSV. The Eindhoven cyclone continued to rage across the pitch. 1-6 was the final score after an unparalleled game by Young PSV.
