Psv U21 has to make do with a point against Telstar. Peter Uneken's team fought hard and equalized at the last minute.
Chances for Ledezma and Ngonge
Young PSV's first big chance came after 15 minutes of playing time. Richard Ledezma was played free but Telstar goalkeeper Swolfs was attentive. Later, it was the midfielder again who brought fire. Ledezma soloed through the Telstar defense but again pounced on the goalkeeper. Ngonge also came close to scoring a goal. He managed to shoot the ball in but did so from an offside position and was flagged off. Both teams went into halftime without a goal.
Free kicks
Young PSV started the second half strongly and came up with some good opportunities. Sidibe managed to shoot at goal but ran into a Telstar defender. In the end, it was the visiting team that opened the scoring. Halfway through the second half, Sven van Doorm fired a free kick. Shortly before the end of the match, Justin de Haas had another huge chance from a free kick but he hit the post. Not much later it was Sidibe who brought the liberating goal. Right after his goal the referee whistled off. 1-1 became the final score.
