After an excellent start of the season, Young PSV slowly but surely threatens to sink a bit further away from the top of the Jupiler League. After the defeat against FC Volendam, Pascal Jansen's team also lost to FC Oss on Monday night. Jordy de Wijs claimed a leading role with a goal and an unfortunate own goal.

De Wijs scores, Boere takes penalty kick
With a disallowed goal by Kamaci in the second minute (after pushing) and a great opportunity missed by Jozefzoon about four minutes later, Young PSV - FC Oss promised to be a nice, open match. A picture that both teams confirmed in the first half by preferring attack to possession more often, which in turn resulted in both Young PSV and FC Oss not getting a grip on the game. So it was not surprising that both teams went to the dressing room with a 1-1 halftime score. De Wijs did put Young PSV ahead 1-0 with a header, but after Rosario committed a foul in the penalty area, Boere undid the hit from the penalty spot: 1-1.

PSV fails to overcome quick 1-2
Three minutes after halftime Jurjus was again passed. This time not by Boere, but by Mathieu, who crowned an action by the 1-1 maker with a shot into the far corner: 1-2. Shortly after, the pledges were lucky that Kamaci did not score the 1-3 from close range in front of a half-empty goal, which would soon put the game into the lock. A quarter of an hour before the end, the game seemed to be over when De Wijs put a Mathieu cross behind Jurjus. Young PSV stood firm, however, and five minutes later came back to 2-3 through Poulsen. From a counter by the visitors Falkenstein then made the decision: 2-4.

Lineup Young PSV
Jurjus; Van Vlerken (46/Abels), Van Bruggen, De Wijs, Poulsen; Duarte (64/Duarte), Rosario, Lundqvist; Beto da Silva, Lammers (74/Kun), Jozefzoon.
