Young PSV won from Jong FC Utrecht without great effort. In a pretty one-sided game, it became 3-1.
Daneels
Led by the well playing Lennerd Daneels, Young PSV dominated almost the entire first half. The young striker was constantly playable between the lines and caused disorder in the defense of Jong FC Utrecht several times. However, Young PSV did (too) little with this disorder. Especially since Justin Lonwijk had already given the pledges the lead in the opening phase of the game. The midfielder nodded the 1-0 after 12 minutes from a corner kick that could not be handled well by goalkeeper Nijhuis of Jong FC Utrecht.

Early decision
While Young PSV missed some more chances, they struck immediately after halftime. Matthias Verreth scored 2-0 from the penalty spot. A good move by Jordan Teze preceded this. The back stepped up and was pushed to the ground in the penalty area, after which Verreth ruled over FC Utrect. The straggler in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie was nowhere near able to add any excitement to the game. The visitors did score (through Arweiler), but only after substitute Amar Catic had already scored 3-0 in fine fashion.
