Young PSV earned a point from their meeting with Achilles'29 on Friday night. Paal scored the equalizer after Penterman had put the visitors ahead with a penalty kick.
1st half: few highlights on either side
Young PSV played Achilles'29 on Friday evening at De Herdgang sports complex. The first half provided little spectacle on either side. The visitors from Groesbeek had the first chance of the match. Penterman was able to tap the ball in freely, but he choked on the cross. On behalf of Young PSV, Sanoh was close to scoring the opening goal. His shot went just wide of Ter Wielen's goal. The game took place mainly in midfield, creating few chances. Yet the best chances were for the visitors in the closing stages of the first half. Boogers had two chances to put his team ahead. Once he almost benefited from a too short back pass and just after that he shot a ball from the edge of the box over Van Osch's goal.
Pole saves point
The second half provided more spectacle than the first forty-five minutes. Duarte sent Sanoh away, but his shot was too soft to outsmart Ter Wielen. Shortly after, the visitors took the lead. Penterman took a penalty: 0-1. Young PSV then went on the attack and got several chances through Lukovic. Each time he found the goalkeeper in his way. Nevertheless, PSV deservedly equalized. Paal was sent off and he shot via the inside of the post: 1-1. Both teams had chances for the three points, but were sloppy with the opportunities. And so after 90 minutes Young PSV and Achilles'29 shared the points.
