Psv U21 again played a draw at home. At the Jan Louwers Stadium it was 1-1 against MVV. Schaars signed for the goal.
Psv U21 falls behind early
Young PSV faced MVV on Monday night at the Jan Louwers Stadium. Kalezic's team seemed to have the best start. Vloet had two good opportunities to score the opening goal. The goal for Young PSV failed to materialize. In contrast, the visitors took the lead after just over ten minutes. A cross from Croux on the left side was tapped in by the free Brouwers: 0-1. Hiljemark looked to equalize just after the opening goal. He passed the goalkeeper with his header, but the ball was cleared off the line by a defender. Ten minutes later, Vloet was close again. A good cross from Boljević landed at Vloet's feet, but his shot was turned away by goalkeeper Coppens. Just before halftime there was another opportunity for Schaars. He volleyed the ball over the goal from a corner kick. The visitors stayed ahead after 45 minutes.

Schaars equalizes
It did not take Young PSV long after halftime to equalize. A free kick by Ritzmaier was let loose by goalkeeper Coppens and Schaars worked the ball in on the rebound: 1-1. The game then went back and forth, creating chances on both sides. An MVV shot went just over the cross of goalkeeper Wintjens and a shot by Boljević at the other end went just wide of the MVV goal. Vloet also tried with a dry blast from distance, but the MVV goalkeeper got in the way. Young PSV did get the best chances in the second half, but had to watch out for MVV's counter. The visitors seemed to take the lead, but Brouwers' goal was disallowed for offside. A few minutes before time, Boljević should have made it 2-1. He was put alone in front of the goalkeeper by a nice pass from Schaars, Boljević missed face to face with the goalkeeper. At the other end, Heesakkers (substituted for Tamata) prevented a goal in injury time by putting his foot in front of the ball at the last moment. The game between Young PSV and MVV ended in a 1-1 draw.
